St. Johns Community Centre - Pumwani
St. John's Community Centre is a Christian community service organization under the Anglican Church of Kenya, Diocese of Nairobi. The centre was established in 1957 by the Church Missionary Society to provide social welfare and psychological services to the immigrants from the rural areas that had settled in Pumwani area. Being strategically located in the Pumwani area, the centre aims to model the community members living in abject poverty to economic sustainability, social and spiritual maturity.

To be a leading Christian Community Centre that significantly contributes to the holistic development of vulnerable peoples, so that they can achieve Social, Economic and Spiritual fulfilment.
Our Mission
To uplift the Spiritual, Social, Economic and other human conditions of the needy in Pumwani by facilitating them to realize their potentials through enhanced capacity guided by the Christian spirit of "Bearing one another's burden."
